Breakthrough is Imminent
From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high, who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth? He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes. With the princes of His people. He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children.
Psalm 113:3-9
Praise the Lord!
Breakthrough is imminent.
We all have to go through different processes in life. We can’t run from it. When you’re following God, you’ll go through different processes and seasons as He prepares you for the next. But there also comes a time when He has deemed us ready and prepared and it is time for our breakthrough. It is time for us to rise to the next level and that can be in any capacity.
It could be that we are starting a new job, that we are going to a new level spiritually, that we are progressing in business, in any aspect of our lives. It could even seem small to us, but the point is that it signifies a higher level where God will get greater glory and where our lives will be forever changed.
It is indeed the season for that.
If you know that you have been going through a process for the past few months or even years; you have stayed faithful though you were by no means perfect; there were times you were fighting tooth and nail to stay the course; you have been faithful through the tears, through the stress, through the worry, and God has spoken to your spirit that your time is nigh, then this is confirmation for you.
Breakthrough is fast approaching.
So don’t let what things look like in the natural deter you. Prepare your heart and mind for greater.
I keep getting the sense of a large train speeding forward, that is how fast the breakthrough will come for many of us. This is why God keeps using the word, “imminent”. Have you ever been at a train station and you’re waiting to depart but the train isn’t there yet. Then, in just a moment you see it approaching. At first, nothing was there until suddenly it has arrived.
If you aren’t in place, at the proper section of the platform where the train will stop, you may find yourself rushing to get on. This is why God wants you to be prepared by standing at your post. Be ready with your bags (whether figuratively or literally) so when the train stops at your feet, you can just step right on.
The thing is, many times we have entered new seasons but because things look the same naturally, we don’t believe we’re in a different place or on higher ground. However, in just the blink of an eye, we can go from seeing one thing to seeing the next.
The part that you play is to stay ready, so that when it is right before you, staring you in the face, you can say, “Welcome, I’ve been waiting for you for so long,” and you can walk right into the new thing that The LORD has for you.
