Let’s Talk Ministries to Host Panel on Music’s Influence

Mandeville, Jamaica — Let’s Talk Ministries is set to host a timely and much-needed conversation surrounding the impact of music on personal beliefs and societal norms. The event, Melodies from Within, will take place on Saturday, August 9, at Fellowship Tabernacle, located at 81 Ward Avenue in Mandeville.

This in-person and virtual event, to be hosted by Tori-Ann Batik, invites attendees into a deeper dialogue around the creative process, the messages we consume, and the call to be more spiritually aware of the music that shapes our daily lives.

The panel will feature several respected voices from the music and ministry space, including musician Mighoy Crawford, music producer and audio engineer Dexter Johnson, Minister Cheryl Davey-Marshall, gospel artiste Ruth-Ann Samuels, and Carron Wright-Brown.

According to organizer Shellesia Neil, known publicly as Amanda Speaks, the “conference is for all the worship leaders, praise team members, ministers, psalmists, producers, musicians and overall music lovers. We believe the Lord wants shift our perspective on what we consume and meditate on through even the music we listen to and how it alters how we see life, what we readily accept, what is seen as the norm.”

The event also includes access to a live Q&A session, allowing attendees to directly engage with the panelists.

Tickets are available for both in-person and virtual attendance via spurropen.com/LTM. The in-person experience is priced at $5,000 JMD (approximately $31.29 USD), while the virtual option is $4,000 JMD (approximately $25.03 USD). All tickets include access to refreshments (for in-person attendees), the live Q&A, and full replay access.
