Jamaica Prepares to Crown its Next Gospel Star
Gospel music lovers across the island are counting down the days to the much-awaited Jamaica Gospel Star 2025 grand finale, set to take place on Sunday, August 3 at 8:00 PM at the Independence Village, located within the National Stadium Complex in Kingston.
After weeks of soul-stirring performances and fierce competition, the final four contestants are ready to battle for the coveted title of Jamaica Gospel Star 2025. This year’s finalists are: Raheem Betty, Raechel Benjamin, Joraine Welch, and Donielle Anderson.
The grand finale promises an unforgettable night of worship and high-powered performances, with special appearances by renowned gospel acts Kevin Downswell, Rondell Positive, and Alicia Taylor.
Admission to the event is free, but tickets are required for entry. Voting remains open until Saturday, August 2 at 6:00 PM, giving the public one final chance to support their favorite contestant before the winner is crowned live on stage.
The Jamaica Gospel Star competition is presented in collaboration with the Jamaica Cultural Development Corporation (JCDC), the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sport, and Jamaica Praise.
