Third Staging of “Youth Praise” Set for October 3
The countdown is on for the third edition of Youth Praise, hosted by the Church of the United Missions Youth Ministry. This year’s staging will be held on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. at Waltham Park New Testament Church of God, 65 Waltham Park Road, Kingston 11.
Youth Praise has become known for bringing young people together in a vibrant atmosphere where music, worship, and ministry meet. This year, the lineup includes Prince Saj, Jai Kingston, Johnmark Wiggan, and Owen Rand, and worship led by Nicalos Williamson.
The evening will be guided by MC Pastor Tyan Hope, with early juggling from DJ Tarik Pryce starting at 5:45 p.m. to set the tone.
The lineup will also feature youth groups such as COTUM Youths, Waltham Park NTCOG, Jamaica Evangelistic Centre, Heart of Worship End Times International Ministry, Parks Road Church of God of Prophecy, and Faith Cathedral Deliverance Centre.
Admission for Youth Praise is $2,000 pre-sold and $2,500 at the gate. Youth ministries and youth groups will benefit from a special rate of $1,500 pre-sold, while children under 12 will be admitted for $1,000 at the gate.

“Youth Praise is a youth-targeted and family-oriented concert that allows youths to be themselves and to worship in an atmosphere of unity, hope and inspired faith through music and positive energy,” says Church of the United Missions youth leader Kay-Ann Swaby.
“Beyond the music, the event carries a greater mission which is to invest back in our youths; from youth development programs, mentorship, self-image workshops, seminars or fellowships which foster spiritual, social and intellectual development of the youths and using sports to mentor, engage, curb behaviour and encourage self-control,” Ms. Swaby added.
